Tullamore comes back to the Celtic Ozarks again on September 10, 2011, as part of the SW Missouri Celtic Heritage Festival. The group took center stage last year, and put on a wonderful show. And that was inspite of having some trouble with the sound equipment. This will make the ninth year that the group has brought their version of Celtic Ozark Music to our area. The event is in Buffalo, Missouri, and starts with the open golf tournament on Friday, September 9, 2011.
Tullamore will also be appearing over the Labor Day weekend at the Kansas City Irish Festival. This year, the group will be on stage with 30 other groups that represent dance troupes, traditional and more modern Celtic music, and much more. Here is a list of some of the other groups that will be in Missouri over Labor Day:
- Gaelic Storm,
- Colin Grant Band,
- Mickey Finns,
- Eddie Delahunt and Friends,
If you want to find our little celtic ozark music favorite, then head to the Crown Center, Atrium Stage. Their first performance will be around 4 p.m. on Saturday. They will take the stage again on Sunday at high noon lads. The Kansas City Irish Festival is ran at Grand Boulevard, at the intersections of Pershing Road and 26th Street in Kansas City.
