I am excited about Celtic Woman coming to Springfield MO. This group is one of my favorites for modern Celtic music. Although, they also sing a lot of very traditional Irish and Scottish songs as well.
Celtic Woman will be coming to the JQ Hammons Arena on Saturday, April 30, 2011, for a 8pm performance. I am including a link here to tickets to Celtic Woman in the Ozarks. It will show you a floor plan for the JQ Hammons Arena, and pricing for the tickets.
In the six years that the group has been around, Celtic Woman has sold more than 6 million CDs and DVDs worldwide and performed for more than 1.2 million people. So, it will be a honor for the Celtic Ozark people to become part of that crowd.
They have never really been a record phenom, nor have they had a Youtube video go viral. The success of the Irish all-female ensemble can be attributed to two things: PBS and word-of-mouth from its live shows.
Earlier this month, the now-quartet of Lisa Kelly, Chloë Agnew, Celtic violinist Máiréad Nesbitt and newest member Lisa Lambe embarked on a three-month, 70-city tour that pulls into the JQ Hammons Arena on the 30th of April. Celtic Woman coming to Springfield MO will be one of the highlight events this year.
